.mac as a photo host?

I was wondering if I may use .mac as a photo host (remote linking? to iDisk?) for online auctions?

If you know where I might find the specific info on this it would be greatly appreciated.

you can do this, just drop the picture in your sites folder, and it will be accessable at homepage.mac.com/yourusername/filename

Yes you can hotlink images, I do it all the time for desktop snaps. I take one, put it in my sites folder on my iDisk then use the [IMG] tags here to display it with no problem.
