On the day of Macbook's release, MacBook extra batteries were showing 4-6 weeks (white), and this never changed at least till now.

So... where da heck are the batteries?

Is Apple really have battery problems (i bet u seen the recent "rumors/news") ?

My flight is shedueld mid-june (London - Hong Kong) and the PSP screen will kill me for such a long play. I need the batteries for the 1280x800 screen.....

any ideas if there're any third parties make them?

I doubt that there are any third-party batteries out there yet...they haven't had time to draw up the designs for them. You could check with an Apple Store to see if they have any in stock, and if not, if they can do anything for you to get one.

That said, a London-Hong Kong flight is probably going to go through at least three batteries if you use your MacBook the whole time. Will your airplane have power outlets at the seat? If so, it might be better to buy an adapter kit and use that for powering your laptop.
