does anyone know of any downloads that build websites for idiots without any knowledge of html? i did the moonfruit thing for a while and it worked great, but i didnt want to pay. i wanna make custom pages for my .mac homepage

Is Apple's .Mac page builder not doing it for you? It can do quite a bit...

I'm assuming you've tried Versiontracker, too?

yeah i want to have more control of the background and the layout of the pages

.mac only offer templates

i know about versiontracker, but there are so many different programs i thought i might get a suggestion before i download a bunch and see what i like

I stick to Dreamweaver and BBEdit, myself, so I'm pretty out of touch with what's out there now.

There's always Composer, which is built into Netscape/Mozilla. :)
