I'm really sorry to post this topic because i'm 100% certain it's been discussed before, however I spent a half-hour searching the forums but couldn't find this info. So please forgive me.
My iBook g4's slot-loading drive has stopped responding. I burned a DVD with it earlier today and it responded fine then, ejected nicely, etc. No problems. but now when I insert a CD it does nothing to activate and 'grab' it, so to speak.
I've tried restarting the computer, etc. No results.
Any suggestions?
