intel Imac production software??

Just picked up the intel imac and wanted to do some production ie. hiphop beats and was wondering what the best program to use would be....or which programs are made specifically for the new intel macs?

Some of my friends recomend Reason but they use pcs so I was hoping to get some better insight, thank you in advance.

umm. check out GarageBand. It is the Guitar in the dock. It comes with every mac.

Garageband rocks! Reason is a great tool! Logic is a great porduct.

Have a browse through the Digital Audio sub-forum, we have covered this topic many times.

The individual software packages will have to be looked up as to when they are going Universal Binary.
