I'm About To Sell My Mac, How Do I Delete Everything?

I'm backing up my HD right now, and will be selling it to a friend. How do I get a clean install? Like it was brand new.

I've never re-installed the OS (unlike windows, where I did it every few months). So what do I need to do? Thanks guys.

Put the OSX discs in, start up holding C and follow the prompts to format and install the OS again. When you get to the point of seeing the intro video, shut the computer down and your friend should then be greeted to the new Mac experience when next booted up. 🙂
