I tend to accumulate a lot of songs in my iTunes library that I've moved off my hard disk and each time iTunes encounters one it pops up an alert asking if I'd like to find the file. This stops all playback when I am in shuffle mode. Is there a way to make it just skip those missing songs and continue to the next one? Or better yet to have it automatically remove it from my library? If there was even a way that I could have it check the veracity of each song then I could eliminate them manually. Any ideas?

If you let iTunes manage your music files and delete songs directly from within iTunes, you won't get any of this ghost links in your library. :)
