My dock loses Genie effect after screen saver

As the title reads, can anyone help me? I leave it on for an extended period of time (usually 15mins, the set time for my ss) and then my dock loses its genie effect whenever i move the cursor over it.

Something wrong? Does it have anything to do with my Screen saver ("Computer Name")? I will admit that sometimes it gets the "computer name" bug, making the SS a folder instead.

it's kinda retarded i gotta reset my computer just to get my genie effect to return into action.. :confused:

EDIT: magnification dies out on me, not genie.

If you go to the Apple Menu and head down to Dock, does it recognise that Magnification is off? :)

but yeah, it's still turned on. and it still doesn't solve my problem unfortunately.
