Hey all, I want to buy a 15" Macbook Pro relatively soon, but my friend says to wait because he heard "somewhere" that a new revision was due out at the end of June, to fix various issues (heat?). Can anyone confirm this? Thanks!

How can you "fix" a heat issue if you don't reduce the amount of heat being produced? The only thing they could do is make a thicker notebook, or run the fans all the time. Neither of these are really a solution.

There are no new components, and it is unlikely they will change the form factor.

If you need a machine, buy one.

If you want a faster chip, wait. The heat will be the same.

Yep, that will pretty much be the case.

I actually read that the Core 2 Duo will be cooler than the current CD
