Hi all,
I have heard reports that the new form-factor iMacs (G5 & intel) have somewhat underpowered FireWire ports. The reason I'm concerned is that the Canopus ADVC-55 DV bridge doesn't ship with an AC adapter; they expect you to run it off of the FireWire port. So I thought I'd post here and ask if anyone can report on whether or not it works with these Macs.
