I have a project website without database access that needs a CMS. I'm familiar with flat-file wikis (PM Wiki) and was wondering if anyone had a good recommendation on a CMS that doesn't need a DB (I'll have PHP and would prefer to use, though).

Thanks :)

Macromedia Contribute? Doesn't require any server technology at all. Good for a site with one to three primary maintainers, expensive for more, as you have to buy the software for each maintainer.

Contribute would be good if there was a budget for software. ;)

I'm basically looking at open-source options. I've downloaded Limbo (Mambo-lite, essentially) and phpCMS to try out - anyone got feedback on them?

I haven't used it, but I've seen a couple sites that use CuteNews (http://cutephp.com/).

I've been also trying to do the same thing, and I found this: http://www.pivotlog.net/

I'll check those out. Thanks :)

So far Limbo (http://www.limboportal.com/) seems to work pretty well, but I've only just installed it and haven't messed around with the templating or adding content yet.
