I honnestly don't think that there are any. It's not really something that you have to do very often.

The only "key combinations" I can think of are pushing the power button on your keyboard (if you have one). This brings up a dialog box asking if you want to Sleep, Restart, Shut Down, or cancel (at least that's how it is on the CRT iMacs). You can push R for restart, and return/enter for shut down. But if you don't have a power button on your keyboard then I don't think there's anything you can do.

Control + Eject
This will give you a menu on what to do....ie. restart, shutdown, sleep or cancel.
Assuming you are using a pro keyboard.
Hope that Helps:)

Thanks, I didn't know you could do that. I was really starting to miss having a power key on the keyboard.

control+option+apple+eject = shutdown
Try a combination of control, option, and apple all with eject. You will come up with the option for restarting. I would attempt to figure it out right now but it would innevitably end up with me restarting without wanting to.:)

Apple Knowledge Base article number 75459 (http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=75459) contains common Mac OS X keyboard shortcuts. Some of these are:
Control-Eject = Restart, Sleep, Shutdown dialog box
Option-Command-Eject = Sleep
Control-Command-Eject = Quit all applications and restart
I often wionder why people don't search Apple's Knowledge Base (http://kbase.info.apple.com/) before asking questions here. It seems like they would get their answer much quicker if they applied a little effort to searching for the information themself.

Yeah but it's more fun posting a question here.

Interesting how that article doesn't list the command that I did that lets you shutdown fromt the keyboard without a menu and a prompt.

I guess that's not a "common" shortcut. ;)

Cause if you do the 'control>eject' thing, you just hit the return or enter key and it goes bye-bye. Pretty freaking easy.
