Interesting. Although you'd think that, if the vanities weighed a hundred pounds more than they were supposed to, someone might have noticed before they left the store... those things are heavy, but they aren't that heavy.

He probably didn't notice because he bought the vanity made of hemp. Imagine his surprise when he got home! Someone left pot in my pot vanity!

I love the picture used in the article. Almost makes it look like there are fields of pot growing around Home Despot.

Somehow I don't think 100LBS of pot is going to give you the motivation you need to remodel a bathroom. :)

That's why you need to stash some Ho-Hos or other munchies in the medecine cabinet you plan to install at the end of the job.

The pick up may have very well been arrested, injured or even dead causing his absence....

I was thinking more of the seller (not getting his $)... but I suppose it could have been the picker-upper.

Ugh... who wants bricked-up marijuana anyway? No wonder they're only getting $90/oz for it...

THANK YOU.. the only thing I could think of when reading this is, "you can fit 100 lbs of doj into a vanity cabinet?!"  ..Schwag, hello. This is some serious mexican brick weed. No one wants that. I'd leave it at home depot too.

I have it on pretty good authority that at least 2x a year in my area, there are plenty of people desperate enough for stems & seeds. :)

OH.MY.GOD
but i agree, 50lb bricks aren't easily overlooked, especially if you're lifting something that isn't THAT heavy. seriously, that would give me an instant heart attack of pure joy to open up a new cupboard and find such a find. not to mention they're new cupboards so you're happy to begin with. the last thing i would do is tell the cops. the first thing i do is much more obvious.

If he did it all at once, he could be dead. :D
I read somewhere that if you smoke ~14 pounds of pot in a very short period, you die. 'Twould be a hell of a feat, however. Interesting way to die. :D

You'd have to come up with a mass smoke device. I find it quite difficult to consume more than about thirty grams of good sensimilla in a single day. Perhaps two to three times that amount for this home depot brick just because the potency would be so low.
The massive pot overdose theory is something of a fallacy however.. I would imagine that if you inhaled the smoke from fourteen pounds of any burning material you'd experience ..unfortunate physical side effects to say the least, having nothing to do with the intoxicating agents in marijuana.

If you smoked 14 pounds of weed in a short period of time, you probably aren't terrible concerned about dying.
I can't even smoke ONE pound of weed in a short period of time... 14 pounds is 10% of my body weight!!!!!

the world would run out of chips and twinkies before i overdose on weed. and a world without either isn't a place i want to be in, or maybe someday raise my kids in.
i've read that it is actually impossible to overdose, because it really isn't harmful in small doses anyways.i'm sure you could smoke all day every day for years and die of lung cancer,l but no immediate effects.

If you click on the link in the video, it goes on to say that the boxes that contained the vanities had the marble countertops taken out so the box doesn't feel to heavy with all that bud.
