My PowerBook has been so helpful for me at college. Of course it handles pictures and photos beautifully, and iCal really helps me organize my life. Plus, Office and preview are great for writing papers, creating presentations and viewing pdf lecture notes. Overall, it's one of the best purchases I've made, and I'm completely confident that it contiune to work well for my remaining too years as well as through law school.

That is awesome it's such an awesome expense for you, I really wish when I get into college that I'll be able to enjoy my Mac and use it as much as you are.
I'm in a school where they don't allow the use of computers in classrooms (like laptops), I don't blame them, but I just can't wait to just use the computer and run simple computer tasks and just do them, not freeze and loose information and/or be at risk, or worry about it.
I <3 Mac. :D

Do you use PowerPoint or Keynote to create presentations?
If you use PowerPoint and you don't have the iWork software suite (Keynote and Pages) -- buy iWork and use Keynote! iWork '05 was one of the best purchases I have ever made and I will probably be buying iWork '07 when the right time comes. I am sure the current version (iWork '06) is better than the version I have (iWork '05). I don't like Pages very much and so I use Microsoft Word for my paper writing needs. Who knows though maybe the second version of Pages is quite better than the first. All I know is that I probably will never again use PowerPoint again because Keynote is much much better.

My PowerBook completely changed the way i do everything. It has helped my creativity no end and is the reason i felt so passionate about writing/producing/shooting/editing/scoring my dissertation/films/artwork/graphics, and has gained me a BA (Hons) degree in Video.
I owe a lot to this PowerBook. So yeah, Pack a Mac!!!
Rich.
