As long as Apple is posting profits, I'll be a happy guy.

Things will start to pick-up after WWDC 2006 in August,
and likely thereafter......

We can only hope. I remember Stocks weren't affected too much by the release of Tiger. In fact I think stock fell after the official annouce of Tiger. I'm really excited to see if the Finder gets a face lift with more stability. I can't wait for August. And FYI, the MacPro isn't a G6. That was a PowerPC chip label. If you have the MacPro your using a Core Duo not G6.

More likely a Core 2 Duo.
more like no one knows, and it could be either Conroe or Woodcrest at this point.

I'm not too surprised. The iPod is not evolving that rapidly right now, because Apple is focussed on the Mac-Intel transition.
And transitions aren't "sexy" to investors. They see this year's round of Mac upgrades as nothing special. Which is not surprising. If everything works perfectly (with Rosetta and updated apps), users shouldn't have to know or care about what the processor is. The only time a typical user should notice a difference (other than performance differences - some apps faster and some slower), will be when there's an annoying bug.
After Macs have completed the Intel transition, and 10.5 ships, and the next generation of apps (iLife, iWorks and the pro apps) are announced, then the public will get excited again and Wall St. will start buying again. I predict this will start happening in the October-February time frame (after WWDC and before when I think 10.5 will ship.)
But it's anybody's guess. Nobody can predict the stock market very wel.
