Hi everyone,

I just bought a macbook and I really think that this machine is awesome!
As probably every MB owner, the annoying thing about it is the temperature, a little bit annoyed by that...
So my problem occurs when I'm using a USB hub (for keyboard, mouse, and ext HD) and its power adapter.
I thought I could close my laptop (sorry notebook) and go to sleep. What a surprise in the morning I found my MB damned hot!!! I almost thought it was over. I had to reboot it to take the OS back to life.

Do you know if there's something that I can do with USB peripherals, like put them to sleep or something...
Really annoying this temp. pb.

Thanks in advance,

It's middle of winter down here so my black MB (2GRam/100GB-7200rpm) is great on my lap; especially when I'm outdoors.
At home, I put it on a cheese plate (cutting board) thats made out of a thick granite. It keeps my CPU temp at around 50 deg-celcius, and HDD around 36 (not sure how accurate these widgets are though).
