Disc Burning support in MDD G4.

I just put in a Sony CD-RW (CRX220E1) Burner, into the lower Optical Drive bay in my tower, and when I go into System Profiler, my DVD burner says "Burn Support: "Yes (Apple Shipped/Supported)", and the CD burner says "Yes (Unsupported)".

In other words, iTunes won't burn to it, and none of apple's software will.

What do I do?

Hmm, I thought this only affected DVDs. Anyway, I believe that there's an app called PatchBurn that will make it work.

indeed: Patchburn (http://www.patchburn.de/download.html).
Download it, run it, it creates a profile for the drive that makes the OS think it is supported, restart.
