iTunes Skips!!

When I am playing songs on iTunes, it sometimes skips while I am working. Whats the deal? Could the motor in my HD be going?

maybe its the song file itself? does it keep skipping in the same spot of the songs it skips on?

I don't think so. I think its pretty random.

To make sure it's not the music file, play it in QuickTime and check for skipping.

Otherwise, it may just be that your computer is under heavy load at the time it skips? Are you doing much intensive work at the times the skipping is at its worst? :)
