Free MS Paint type of app

Whats something thats good and free(preferably universal) thats just like MSpaint. Something thats just useful for resizing pictures, or adding text, or making a small collage, or even just drawing a quick diagram fo something.

Any Ideas?

Well. You could wait about a year until Poster Paint is as good as MS Paint (see my signature). Or you could download Seashore now. It's a good lot more complicated than MS Paint but it is free!

There's always MR's own Robbie Duncan's app, Poster Paint.

Also there's GraphicConverter.

Thanks to everyone for suggesting Poster Paint! As I noted above it's a long way off the dizzy heights of MS Paint right now. I'm still working on it though!

"Gimp" is more Photoshop-like then MS Paint-like but it will do what you want and it is free. It also is multi-platform and runs on just about anything, including Intel Macs. Being Photoshop-like, It is possably overkill for your needs www.gimp.org
