Wow! That whole album is much slower and even more depressing than their first album, which I really like!
This later album is just a little over the edge (or should I say, off the ledge:) for my musical sensibilities. Might be a suitable soundtrack for rereading a "dear John letter" while drinking alone... <shudder> definitely not wakeup and great the day tunes!

Noticed the Portishead live album. Isn't itunes great for disc-covering new music?

Listening to the samples, the live songs turned out pretty well. Considering all the complicated studio effects involved, producing the originals, it's surprising Portishead could perform live.
