I didn't see any "what do you listen to?" threads in the search I did, so I thought I'd start one.
I'm a prog rocker. Dream Theater, Transatlantic, Porcupine Tree, Spock's Beard, Sprial Architect, etc. I also love jazz (Allan Holdsworth, Miles, Dave Brubeck, Chick Corea), and I grew up with classic rock, so just about any of that.
What about you?

I like DreamTheater also. I'm also a big fan of Bela Fleck and the Flecktones. If you haven't heard these guys, you should derinately check them out.
I'm listening to Andrew WK right now, but that isn't 100% me.

I'm also a big fan of Bela Fleck and the Flecktones.
I've seen 'em twice! I LOVE the Flecktones! Victor Wooten's bass solos are the most amazing I've seen, as well, I always look forward to them.

I think that I'll listen to most anything but country/country & western music, but there are occasionally exceptions.
Mostly, I like 1980s dance and rap. I was trained as a classical pianist so, there's also a special place for classical. I also have quite a bit of Japanese, Spanish, and Swedish pop.
Recently, I picked up a Linkin Park CD and also, an Avril Lavigne CD. I think it must have something to do with going to college again. :D

oh man. Tchaik 5 is one of my favorites. 2nd movement is great. Gotta love the French Horn. I played his 5th 2 years ago, and it is *the* most memorable thing I have played with a symphony orchestra since then. Other than Tchaik, I love Brahms, Mahler, Strauss, Beethoven, Copland, Dvorak. Mostly anything that isn't waltzes or too "baroque-like." Being a Violist, playing too many boring waltzes and baroque music has soured my opinion of those styles :p . Other than classical music, I listen to nearly everything. I'm not a big fan of pop or country though..
