isight not working?!

i try to do a video chat with my friends and it always says that im not responding but i am....and with my friend it says that hes not responding...somebody please help us...thanks in advance

More information would be appreciated. What programs, are they pc users? Things like that, if we are to help you we need more information.

From the outset sounds like a firewall issue... Make sure the right ports are open (check google for the port numbers)

i dunno but nothing is working...iv been opening all kinds of ports and nothing is working...maybe its not a firewall issue?...it doesnt work with anybody, no matter if they hav a mac or pc or watever...my isight camera refuses to allow me to hav a video chat and im about to go nuts....somebody please help

It may not be onyour side but your counterparty's ... I went nuts once trying to fix it here while the issue was on the other side. Try connection doctor to see if it gives more info
