Hey there,

has anyone compared the pre- and post installation whine of the MacBook Pro after updating to 10.4.7? I returned my MBP due to the whining issue, maybe now it's the time to get it once again...Thanks!

nope. In fact I think it made the whine louder!

Now QuietMBP idles the cores at 2GHz, rather than 1.5GHz like before. Now I'll have even less battery and more heat when running off battery.
