Does anyone know anything about playing this rar.video file. How to convert it and play it on a Mac or under VPC(virtual PC).Your help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

If the file ends in .rar it is most likely a rar archive file which is similar to a zip file. Stuffit might be able to extract it for you.

I haven't played a Real video file in a while and I think those end in .ram. Not sure though.

I assume this is a file you have downloaded from a legal source. You might need to un-archive it first using Stuffit or, my favourite, UnRarX (http://unrarx.sourceforge.net/).

A single RAR file? Sounds like a virus to me.

Who RARs one single file into one single RAR, that defeats the whole purpose of RARing, to break it up and keep errors to a minumum and allow people to dl parts they may need and not the whole RAR.

It's not unheard of to RAR something into a single file; in fact, it is used fairly often.
