gftp on OS X? Fink or Darwine?

Anyone know the best way to get gftp on my mac?

Please don't offer me Transmit, CuteFTP, Cyberduck, or any other Mac only software. I have been through this and I really dislike the way ftp client software works in OS X.

gftp is available as source via Fink, but there is no stable build of the X11-based FTP client.
