Let's see... graduated college, got my first job, lost that job, then got a new and better job.
Became an uncle, and soon to be a father. Watched my parents divorce after 35 years.
Moved a couple times, killed my college car and replaced it with a pickup. Got a dog, lost our cat.
Got my kitchen equipment fix (mostly) taken care of. Bought the beginnings of a shop for my garage....
God, how long have I been here now?

I turned 18
I got a car
I graduated from High School
I was in the newspaper for being such a stinky nerd
My Mac-related life:
I've been to 2 grand openings (soon to be three... FIRST IN LINE for First Colony!)
I've been to Apple HQ
I won a Powerbook (a few days before I registered, but that was my first post.. haha)
I became more of a stupid nerd than before.. :p

I was born, raised, educated, married, and became a father, all since joining MacRumors. OK, I guess it just feels like I've been a member forever.
Actually, now that I check the calendar, it seems I was already a parent before I got this MacRumors hobby. That means that the biggest change since I joined, other than working my way up from Newbie to Administrator, is that I changed from someone who dreamed of going to Japan someday into someone who dreams of going back to Japan someday.

When I joined MR, I was about to start high school... now I'm a senior
I've purchased 3 iPods (3G, Mini, 4G Photo) and sold 2
I bought my first Mac
I went from being addicted to Counter-Strike 1.6 to not even having a PC. Then I built a new PC and got addicted to Counter-Strike Source. Now I am selling my gaming PC (again) and going Mac-only.
I grew 10 inches...
My iTunes library has gone from less than 100 songs to over 1,500 songs
I learned how to drive... and got a car... and got into a wreck
I've wasted a lot of time here...

In the last three years I have seen, which I have shared here on MR [in no particular order]:
- My advertising job with my company eliminated, not a bad thing since I was given a sales job back in the stores - which I found out I prefer
- A bout of Bell's Palsy
- Being forced to wake-up and see that my 13 year relationship was going to destroy me mentally, physically, emotionally, and financially - unless I ended it when I did
- Having to sell my TH in a market that I could not afford to re-buy in (see the above)
- Being able to look forward each new work day
- Having a space that I can decorate to my needs and tastes
- Getting my first passport
- Traveling the way I like to (cheap, clean places - spending hours chatting with locals, or hours behind my camera)
- In the past year being able to revisit SF (first visit was back in '96), seeing Chicago for the first time, doing my first overseas trip (Reykjavik and London), a week long cruise to the Western Caribbean in October with my sister. And if the travel gods are with me in July - I hope to add Toronto and Amsterdam to my passport
- Looking forward to next year, spending 2 to 4 weeks in Argentina [and other parts of South America (though that might change in order to do a week in Venice for Carnival, with added European destinations)
- Trying to spend more time on my photography
I met scem0. :) Very good thing indeed.
I will add that meeting the likes of you, PlaceOfDis, iGary, Clix Pix, and others have added to my experience.
Spend too much time on the computer now....need to focus man.

On the downside... I developed Diabetes, turned 30 and my hair has got substantially greyer. :o

Coming up on 2 years here in another month or so. Wow - time flies when you're blowing off your real job.
I've learned more about Macs, and perhaps a little more about myself. Met some new people, both online and in "real life" from the forums. Got a new iPod. Got a new MBP. Traveled to a lot of different places.
All in all, though, not a lot of significant changes. Well, aside from the fact that my wife and I are expecting our third child (the other two were pre-MR).

I know what you mean. I have to give thanks to the members across the world for posts that opened my eyes to another perspective on the news. It was because of this new international insight, that I think my visit to Reykjavik and London went so well in meeting people from the countries I visited.
I was told by one person, who thought I was an ex-pat on holiday in Iceland from the UK, that it was that I was not self-centered country wise. Thanks MR members from outside the US!

I was so ticked when they changed the name to the Wizards. According to the press at the time, it was due to the street violence going on. If the used some "crew" name - I would have been more understanding. The way the Wizards have played for so long, the nick of the "wiz" rings true. Just pissing in the wind IMO.
Reminds me of the battle back in the 70's at my JHS, Roger B. Taney JHS. We had the team name of the "Rebels". Because of the Dred Scott SCOTUS decision, the "Rebels" name came under fire. IIRC, the JHS is now named after Thurgood Marshall. This school is in Prince George's County Maryland. So some of the rancor over history and race relations could be explained.
Much like the rancor that goes on about the "Redskins" name for the NFL team in the DC area. I just wonder what has happened the use of the name of "Braves" at my old HS, Potomac SHS in Oxon Hill, Maryland?

What's changed:
I spent way too much on computers and other electronic devices.
I bought a new car.
Two vacations: Vienna and Stockholm.
Drove my new car into a van.
Became slightly more self-confident (a long way to go, still).
The severity of my IBS has improved.
Discovered Firefly/Serenity. Yay!
I now have a major goal in life that I want to achieve before I turn 40.
What hasn't changed:
My job still sucks.
No girlfriend (I'm really shocked about that, no, really, I am stunned).

Umm, so pretty much i'm still fat, single, and spend my life sitting in front of a computer. The system menu is just on the top of the screen now instead of the bottom, and my room doesn't feel like an oven.

Went from being a pharmacy technician to heading up the corporate graphics department of a very large group of television affiliates. Took about 6 years of long hours in front of the computer. :)

Since joining I gave birth to my son who is quite seriously ill and mildly disabled. This completely changed my life since I cannot work full-time anymore and am staying home with my child for the most part -- but it's rewarding on a personal level.
I was still able to finish my Ph.D. and am grateful for that, and am now waiting for my son to get a little older and more independent so I can start working full-time again and finally fully take advantage of my education.
