Is there anyway to set up pictochat so you can talk to people around the world? or not possible

I remember reading that it wasn't allowed access the whole world for safety reasons. Otherwise unsavoury character would be sending savoury characters dirty drawings or something.

Picochat is local wifi only, but there are is a project much like xlink kai that is attempting to tunnel the DS over a normal web connection. I' not sure how far the they got tho.
IIRC they are Picochat sniffers, which might imply picochat clones that can be run on the PC... Do some googleing and see what the communtiy are doing ;)
