Hey
This has been driving me crazy for the past 24 hours. How do you beat bowser on super mario brothers DS? Im in world 1. I'm a newbie at gaming as you can imagine. ;)
Answers would be the best thing right now! :D

The cheatiest way is to save a mega-mushroom and just walk over him.

You really don't want people to tell you the skilled way do you pink pony? That's half the fun :p!

If its the one at the end of the level 1 I think you jump over him and hit the red button...

It's just like the original mario from 20 years ago, you have to get around him and hit the axe-like-thing on the other side. Then the bridge will fall out from under him.

Dude all you need to do is equip your sniper gun and wirewalk so he can't jump to your location and put hot slugs in him.............wait wrong game:)

yeah that sounds like syphon filter not mario ( you PSP promoter you! haha )

one of the above statements was correct. simply hop onto that platform and dash jump over him and nail the red button. boom. bowser down. and yes. it is just like the old mario from NES version. ( i remember those days :) )

took me about 3.5 sec to beat him lol and you figure i havent played mario in probably 10 years or more

If you're Super Mario or bigger, you could cheat and run through him then jump on the button.

This works in all worlds except the last one. In the final battle you get swatted back.

You downgrade to a mini mario or whatever, but it takes two seconds.

If you get stuck again IGN has a decent (but not great) guide (http://guides.ign.com/guides/682879/index.html) to every level in case you're trying to get all the star coins.

Very enjoyable Mario game, but it's far too short...even with all the extras you try to get.

Yoshi's Island 2 can't come soon enough! :eek:

You're actually stuck on the original bowser? :o


It's pretty simple. Find a way to jump over him (is there a moving platform in NSMB?), or run underneath him when he jumps. If you are super you can just run through him- you'll take a hit but keep going.

Once you pass him, jump on the thing behind him and you win.

Alternatively- get a fireflower and hit him a couple times.

theres a video on how to beat him if you seriously are sitll stuck.
