That's right, Aspyr released a demo of COD2 for Mac. Its the same as the demo for PC and Xbox 360: Single Player, Egypt map. Links can be found here: http://www.macupdate.com/info.php/id/15071, and here: http://macgamefiles.com/detail.php?item=19203.

I love this game on my 360. It should be equally as good on a Mac.

Can this be played from the 3rd person perspective?

No, but this game really is a blast, especially on Veteran when you REALLY have to watch your ass. The hardest part in the game is climbing up the cliff and getting cover in a trench... God, I spent hours on that level.

What a nice treat - can't wait to download it. And I didn't even get Aspyr anything.

A bit on the short side but great anyway. Performed surprizingly well at 1024x640.

Play it on veteran and the game won't be on the short side. I salute anybody who has beaten it on veteran.

That was pretty fast in getting out the demo. The game has only been on the shelf for a couple of weeks.
Now what we need Aspyr to work on is the 1.2 update to bring multi-player up to parity with the PC side & allow us to see more servers.

Not to be pushy, Aspyr did a great job with this port.
