Stock, the only way to update a drive's info is to restart the Finder. Are there any apps that do this without restarting the finder every xx minutes? TIA for any info you have 🙂
 
You're talking about the free space available that shows at the bottom of Finder windows, I assume...?

On my computers, that's always updated every once in a while so it doesn't generally bother me, but putting anything in the trash (even an empty folder) and emptying it forces an update. I know there are also apps to force an update, but I don't know the names of any--try a search on VersionTracker.
