Windows 98 game

i have this really old game that installs on W98 (wont work on XP, tried it) and was wondering if there was a way i could do this on my mac with an emulator or virtual pc or something? how about a way to make XP work with it too? thanks.

In XP, right click on shortcut to program, click Properties, and go to the Compatibility tab. Try the various settings here.

Other than that, you're probably pretty much SOL. Emulation will be too slow. You could try Win 98 in a virtual machine under Windows or an Intel Mac, but if its at all 3D it probably won't work.

I lot of 98 games don't work under XP. Back home I have a 98SE box set aside for playing Blood, Worms Armageddon, etc. You own a Dell PC, maybe you could install 98 on an external drive or something?
