Use a cellphone camera as a webcam

Is it possible to use a cellphone video camera as a webcam? I have a razr v3 and I could connect it to my computer either via bluetooth or usb.

It's possible because I've seen it demo'd with the Nokia Series 60 phones. However, I have no idea how useful it is (Bluetooth has abysmal data rates), nor do I know how to set it up.

But if I connected it via wired USB it would be just as fast as any normal camera.

A. You have to upgrade the firmware and hack its menus to get it to record video. I think it'd be exceedingly hard to make it work as a webcam.

i did a bit more googling (now that i know it's a v3c :p) and found this

it seems to indicate you can use it as a webcam, unfortunately i dont speak spanish so i cant read it :o, and it looks like it's windows only :(

Howard, I just used google translator on that link you posted so I kind of get what it's saying. Apparently you can use those 2 apps and they will work for any Motorola camera phones. But of-course they are PC only. Maybe I'll just give up on this until I have a PC.
