I hope they release a new MSN Messenger as well as most of my friends are on PC's. Also those desktops on the MSN mac site are nice!

The release of MSN for Mac and QuarkXPress brings more evidence that 2003 will be an exciting year for Mac users. More software=more options=more competetition=better products=:) for us. Quark still looks like something that didn't flush, but anyway...

The introduction of MSN service for Mac and MS' recent purchase of Virtual PC makes me think Microsoft just wants Apple to be yet another brand of computer that runs it's software. It's been said before, but if you can't make something go away, you might as well use it to your advantage. Luckily, it seems they're not skimping on quality.

I hope we all get a new free version of Explorer and Messenger. It's a pain not being able to send files with Messenger. It raises the typical question from PC friends: "I can do it on Windows. Why can't the Mac do it?"

Here's a real question: does anyone think Microsoft is trying to pry Apple users away from Apple's own OS, using Apple HW as a 'client?' I don't think so (such a strategy seems a bit extreme,) but it'd be interesting to see what others think.

Although I won't be recommending it to anybody, it looks like they've done a much better job than AOL, and they're offering their broadband services with it (something AOL won't even touch for the Mac side). I'm impressed.

Actually you can get AOL Broadband for OS X.

Otherwise it looks that MSN is rather nice. Its great to see compition between AOL and MSN on our platform (The offer the same stuff). I guess AOL will have to keep up with MSN to keep its Mac customers..
