I have purchased the Banshee and this systems blows the competition away. It kills my Altec Lansing and all I can say is that it is worth a lot more than $129.99. I am sure George Carlin makes good money so you have to pay something for good quality. I would recommend that everyone buy this system. Check out their web site www.bansheeaudio.com

how is this surround? the iPod outputs stereo sound, and all of the 5 speakers on the banshee are pointing in the same direction. i hate sound systems without a subwoofer. and did i mention that this looks FUG™ly and cheap?

normally i stay out of these, and since sound is a very personal, subjective subject (everyone likes something different), it's a hard subject to debate.
but i also bought a Banshee speaker system - and i LOVE IT!
this thing rocks!
i put this in my kitchen, since i listen to music while i cook - love it!
the bass sounds great, a subwoofer might be a bit much
best thing i can say - is give it a shot, you'll be very pleasantly suprised!
