hey guys,

do u think this is worth picking up at htis point or just get an intel mac for much more? its a powermac g5 1.6ghz/768 ram/80 gb hdd and comes with the 17" studio display. its going to cost me 795 bux canadian taxes included. what do you guys think?

That seems like a resonable price to me. 1.6 GHz is plenty fast for most things and 768 MB RAM is decent too.

At the price it seems like a good deal. Personally I would go for an iMac with a Core Duo processor. But if you feel like saving a few bucks, then go with the 1.6GHz Power Mac G5- it still offers a good deal of speed for most of your computing needs.
