No Trackpad option

My trackpad quit working on my G3 ibook after I replaced the power supply. I checked the connections which are all tight.

I went to preferences to select trackpad rather than mouse but there is no trackpad option.

My ibook does work with the mouse but I miss the trackpad!

Any suggestions?

Try unplugging your peripherals and resetting your PMU (http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=14449). :)

i don't have an answer to your question but was just wondering how you deal with all the spam you must get from displaying your email address so publicly? :)
