Contributing Question

So I am ready to take the plunge and contribute, but the one thing I am unsure of is whether it will auto-renew in a year. Knowing my luck it would auto-renew and I wouldn't remember about it and bad things would happen. :D

Anyways, if I missed the right post that explains that question please let me know and I'll accept responsibility for my own stupidity. :rolleyes:

No, it doesn't auto-renew. You would receive an e-mail shortly before your expiration date to let you know that it's approaching, but if you do nothing you simply revert to non-contributor status.

On a side note, you can pre-pay multiple years...you don't have to wait until the end of the year to join up again for the next year. Renewing at any time will simply extend your expiration date by a year.
