Not really specific to the mac at the moment. However, the future games might not be so suited to the Geforce 4.


PS. My new 1Ghz DP machine just arrived with the ati 7500.

What's the chances of a GeForce 4 (or even a GeForce 3, for that matter) fitting in an AGP 2X slot?

Logically, you wouldn't get the same results as if it were an AGP 4X slot, but it should be backwards compatible, shouldn't it?

By the way - I was reading that the GeForce 4 was actually designed with the AGP 8X slot in mind, so Mac users won't see that much of a speed bump over the GeForce 3, anyway - just the convenience of running 2 monitors from the same card.
