I'm trying to find the names/artists of some songs from a mixed tape of slow smooth jazz type ballads that a friend gave me over 15 years ago. I've found about 10 of the songs, but two of them have me totally stumped. :confused:
A piece of the lyrics go like this:
This one sounds like it could be The Whispers or The Isley Bros.: "Life would be so sweet if I had you..."
And I can't identify any of the artists on this one at all. It's mostly instrumental, but the singing part goes like this: "Ladies night out, right on time, think about you baby, all the time...gotta see my lady, my lady, gotta see my lady, see my lady...."
There's also 3 or 4 songs, totally instrumental, that I'll probably never identify such as a very smooth jazz rendition of "Stormy Weather". Ha, you can just imagine how many artists have done that song!
