I knew they got hot, but this is insane.

I doubt my MB gets that hot and I'd bet that egg was probably cooked before putting on his MB.

It's amazing what some kids will do to make a moot point when it's daddy's money that paid for it.

Gimme a break. Eggs are notoriously easy to cook. You can probably cook one with all the hot air spewed around the net about how hot MBs get.

i think its pretty poor that they would release a machine that is almost unusable unless you have a table to put it on. As a student, i am usually stuck resting the machine on my lap, and after 20 minutes of use, it has to have a book under it between the laptop and my legs.
Laptop.

Don't be so gullible. We don't know that it was cooked there, or maybe just placed on top after being fried in a pan.

50C (case temp) is not hot enough to cook raw eggs. I call BS.

LOL! Considering when you go to the original site: http://www.sagags.com/?p=441 and it reads:

If you didn’t know yet this is a

joke.

Could that be a hint? ;)

Too bad I have a measly MacBook Pro and not a MacBook... I'm hungry for an omelet.

Nope I didn't look at it. Next time please be clearer so I don't look like an ass.

And yet, talking about jokes is also fun.

The most important issue ought to be obvious. The egg is on the cool side (optical drive) of the MB. Duh.
