The spacebar on my keyboard is slowly going down the drain, so I'm looking to replace the keyboard on my 400 MHz TiBook. I understand that the keyboard on these early models is slightly different than later TiBooks, and am hoping someone has one lying around.

If you've got one, lemme know. I'd be willing to spend $20 shipped to 63146.

I have a keyboard... but it's missing the letter H.

How hard would it be to take the H from my keyboard and put it on the one you've got? Would that work?

It's not that difficult. You put the white sissor piece first by hooking them in. Then you take the H key and it just snaps onto the sissor part. PM me an offer.

You could just do a search for the parts to replace the spacebar. I broke one of the hooks off of mine when I switched it back to QWERTY from DVORAK. Just bought the key for $4.99 inc. Shipping and clipped it on and has worked ever since.

Otherwise there are many places that sell PB Keyboards for like $40.
