View Full Version : Making OS X the default OS to boot into.

Windows XP is the default OS, when I startup, if I dont hold down ALT (Option) then it goes to XP, how can I make OS X the default os?
BTW, I searched but couldnt find anything.

There's a "Startup Disk" section in System preferences - you should be able to just change it to OSX in there.

Yes, follow Chundles advice to fix your dilemna Donz0r. ;)
Just the thought of having Windows XPee as the defualt OS makes me shudder. :eek: ;) :)

BootCamp also installs a Startup Disk Control Panel in Windows, so you can set it there as well.

Thanks! I never use XP i dont know why I even installed it. Especially since my Macbook SHUTS DOWN RANDOMLY ALL THE TIME!!! It's a hassel to have to hold t he option key!
