Hi everyone. I need to sell my Canon GL2 quickly. The GL2 is a pro level camera with 3 CCD sensors with many, many features. Go here for detailed specs:

http://www.usa.canon.com/consumer/controller?act=ModelDetailAct&fcategoryid=165&modelid=7512

The camera comes with all items pictured below. They include: standard battery, three-hour battery, charger, video cable, cleaning DV tape, DV tape rewinder, and FireWire cable.

I no longer have the manual, but I downloaded an electronic version I can pass on. The street price for this camera is around 2000 dollars. I am asking 1400. I have not shot many tapes with this camera, and is one of the primary reasons why I am selling it: I would like to concentrate on still photography projects; besides, I could use some extra cash at the moment... so, I would like to sell it in the next couple of days.

PayPal payments only to lower 48 US States. I will pay for shipping.

Thanks!

I am very interested, unfortunately a recent vacation drained my savings. Would you be willing to trade for the Powerbook in my sig.? It is just a year old. It shows some minor wear on the case from everyday use, The battery holds a charge for about 3-4 hours of normal use. I have not sold or traided anything here before but I do have 100+ positive feedback on ebay (user jwm75)

PM me if interested.

I'll bite. I would love to buy it from you and could send the money over Paypal.

But... I could only go as high as $800.

I actually work for a non-profit company that produces a weekly PBS program... they are always looking for good deals on equipment (it's an outdoor show, and they are pretty rough on the gear) so I will check with them tomorrow to see what the current needs and budget are.

This is my workhorse camera. It's taken a heck of a beating over the last 4 years and is still kickin'. It's been all over the world with me. I LOVE this camera. Sure there's HD, but this is perfect for it's combo of size and quality. Bump for a great camera and a great deal.

The street price for this camera is around 2000 dollars. I am asking 1400. Thanks! Yeah, street price is $2k, but that's for a new one. I've been checking on ebay for a slick deal, and all the used one's can be had for $1100-1400.

Your just breaking marketplace all over the place aren't you? How are you benefiting by taking such an interest in items you aren't interested in buying?

yeah try to call a place like that. They will tell you that you have to buy the charger and battery separate for $600 or something like that. Thats what places like that do.

I apologize. I didn't know posting other prices was against policy. I will refrain in future posts.

Shady outlet stores like that are scammers... a naive friend found out the hard way when he ordered a D70 kit listed at $549... then came the usual spiel: hundreds of extra dollars for accessories already included in the kit.

Anyway: the GL2 is still for sale...
