MS Word Keyboard Shortcuts Drastically Altered...why?

For some reason, the keyboard shortcuts in Word have changed on my machine. For example...a new document is created not by cmd-n, but cmd-l; cmd-s performs the "Open" menu item.

Does anyone have any idea why this might have happened? More significantly—how do I get back the default keyboard shortcuts?

I am using MS Office 2004—the other Office products (e.g., Excel) do not appear to have been affected.
