I have a 12" PowerBook w/ iMovie 2 installed. I had previously used iMovie 3.0.1 on another G4, but wasn't happy with the performace. I'm considering upgrading my 12" to iMovie 3.0.2, but want to be able to go back to iMovie 2 if I still am unhappy with 3.
Does anyone know where I can download the install for 2? I've read that you can get it off your Jaguire disk, but my 12" only came with restore disks. Can I get it off of these?
thanks

Should a software restore work, or is that just for system apps? Also, 3.0.4 makes a big difference

if you dont like imovie 3 go download tinkertool. tell it to show invisable files. then search for the imovie2 package. i did this exact same process when i had to install the bsd subsystem when i need tabs. it should work, i havnet tried it but i see why it wouldnt work.

i already have tinkertool installed. is there an actual search that i run, or is it just me searching on my own?
Would it not just be the iMovie file under the applications folder w/ all its packaged contents?

just a regular search through the cd. it should just say imovie2, but like i said i have never dones this with imovie, just he bsd subsystem. hopefully someone who has done this will come across this thread and help you out more.
