HELP... external HD cannot be found

I plug it in, and it says: 'the volume for lacie disk cannot be found'

I'm pretty sure I turned it off without it unmounting before.... So maybe thats what did it.

Help would be appreciated. The stuff I have on it can't be replaced :🙁 🙁 🙁
