Consider an even smaller "drive" instead of a bigger wallet? Sandisk makes some SD cards that fold to reveal a USB "connector".

I have a 32mb SanDisk, got it a long time ago. I keep schoolwork and (believe it or not) xbox bios's on it. This thing has been dropped in a puddle, stepped on, you name it, it was even on my keychain for a while, and it still works perfectly.

I keep some work related files on my 128MB pen drive, but always try to keep as much space as possible free for those times I really need to move some files...

Um, that's why you put it on the ring with your car keys. I'm sure if you keep up with your car keys that you'll keep up with your flash drive. ;)

A bit of this and a bit of that.
I usually just use mine to transfer files around and occasionally as an additional backup for some of my school work.

I have a 512MB SanDisk Cruzer Micro that I bought about a year ago for college. Obviously so, I just keep a third back-up of all of my school assignments and research on there.

i recently got a 'kingmax super stick'... it's 1G and it's seriously tiny! advertised as the worlds smallest anyway, whatever.
I keep most of the stuff from portableapps.com on it (for my work pc, and friends/family pc's).. portable firefox, etc... fantastic!
I also keep some tv episodes and other random files...
I seem to have a whole heap of devicies with almost the same content on them these days.. my mobile phone holds simular data, my iPod, usb stick, urgh!

me a few random programs that I find my self needing when workign on some else computer.
School projects are stored on it and files from school.
solution manual or 2 (more school crap).
A few users names that I can never rememeber.
And txt file call
Guy house. Happens to be the WEP key for the wireless. Find it so much easier to just give that to someone when they come over and want on the internet. Plus takes a lot less time than entering it manually.

See theres a problem with that whole key ring idea however. Sony decided it would be smart to put the ring hole on the lid, and not the actual unit. Ive heard of the lid and the unit detaching and the user is stuck with just an empty top.

Encrypted passwords on my small one, larger ones to move files. Should load all those old floppies on to one of the large ones and trash the floppies.

I just keep old school projects and random files on mine. Now the big question is where did I put it now that I am done with Uni.
I still have my older one that I accidently broke when it was plugged into a PM. Should see about getting it fixed if at all possible.
Oh, and I do not wear my flash drives around my neck.

Well, you might as well tell your brother not to attempt any of those manoevuers on there, since they are professional drivers on a closed course... that, and the thing with the horse is just impossible (not from personal experience) :o

Formatted as a custom-rolled Damn Small Linux distro boot device for setting up some NTavo "thin clients." (use this quite liberally in this instance... want to play with some SunRays.) It also contains various installer files, Mac OS X Administration PDFs, some project files for various working apps.
It's a very beat up 128mb SanDisk Cruzer mini. I have a fairly new 512mb one with various odds and ends somewhere around here, but I cannot find it.

2gb drive holds a backup my day's work, new music to transfer to my laptop from my desktop, random inter-office media (sound clips modtly), pictures to transfer to my laptop, my entire guitar tab collection :) , and random documents (my resume, contact sheets, spreadsheets, etc) Life without it would be a bitch.

2GB, formatted into two partitions, the first one (700MB) has a bootable copy of parallelknoppix, and about 70MB free. The other partition has files that need to be mounted as writeable when running PK. The only annoyance I've run into is that Windows doesn't acknowledge the second partition (where most of the free space is) so I have trouble transferring larger files with it.
64MB, Filled mostly with schoolwork.

i keep games, firefox, and music because the school board won't let you go anywhere on the internet because it's all blocked.

On my 512MB SanDisk Cruzer Micro I have: some apps: BitTorrent, Carbon Copy Cloner, iSquint, Pacifist, TinkerTool, VLC, and VNC Viewer.
I also have a video poker game that I installed at work ( :D), and some videos that got sent around, so I can have sound with them (PC at work doesn't output sound for some reason. Oh well.)
I also have the most recent security update for Panther that I still need to put on my cousin's eMac. I should probably put DiskWarrior and/or TechTool Pro on there too...
