Question: can an overclocked 400mhz to 550mhz Tibook and a 500mhz to 550mhz Tibook with 8mb of video ram keep up with Quicktime and video in iTunes or are these just dead in the water? The mininum video ram for video itunes is 16mb so strictly speaking are these machines too old now?

i doubt it. the 500MHz TiBooks are pretty old.

How did you overclock it?

Daystar did. Both overclocked to 550mhz. But I don't think they upped the VRAM.
