i know there's a plugin for quicktime that lets you play divx files and stuff, but i can't recall the name of it for the life of me....anyone know? thanks!

I think Flip4Mac is for playing Windows Media. There is a DivX plugin that works great for me. You can get it from the site.

You're right... I was thinking more of "stuff"... I gathered DivX was given... 😉

flip4mac doesnt support intel macs....yet....still, heh...

isnt there another component that does allow you to play wmv within quicktime? i thought there was? i used to have it..

There are plenty of ways of playing divx on OS X. hit up version tracker and type in Divx. OR you can get VLC www.videolan.org That is what I use and I love it. Plays DVDs and just about any video format you throw at it (except wmv's... but they suck anyhow)
