Airport Express w/Linux internet Share

I have a linux box that I set-up an internet share from the enthernet. Can I use that connection to to feed the airport express?

Basically my d-link router is kinda far, so if I can make the linux box a repeater, i can connect better.

I's not quite clear what you are wanting to do. If the Linux machine is doing routing and NAT forwarding why would you have a DLink router? I think you need to tell us what is plugged into what and other details.
 
Ok, sorry I wasn't clear. I have a d-link wireless router downstairs. I get maybe a bar, 2 if I'm lucky. I have a linux computer, an ibook, an APE, and a D-link router. If the linux server is closer to the router then I am and it picks up the signal, then it can rebroadcast it via ethernet to the APE, and then the APE will take that signal and rebroadcast so it'll be closer to me, hence a better signal. I know speed probably won't change, but at least it'll be easier to hold on to the signal.

Basically I want the APE to think the server is a modem.
